Group Lesson
The group starts at Ngarunui Beach Carpark 5 minutes outside of Raglan township at our surf truck and trailer. The minimum age to join a group lesson is 10 years old. Check out other lesson options for kids and families! First, you’ll learn the basics of surfing, surfboard vocabulary, stance, posture and a dose of water and beach safety. You’ll be fully prepared before you hit the surf!
Your instructor will be right there beside you ready to help you choose your waves, help line your board up and even push you into waves. Our goal is to have you paddling into waves yourself by the end of the lesson.

The following pricing list is for surf lessons, including Group surf lessons, Private surf lessons (1 on 1) and Private surf lesson (1 on 2). Note all prices are per person.
