The Crew

You’ve probably spoken to Jane, our Surf Mama on the phone! She also creates most of the photo’s and videos you see from Raglan Surf School!

As an instructor one of the most satisfying parts of her job is the challenge of meeting someone who is afraid of going into the ocean for the first time and gaining enough trust to help them fall in love with surfing too!

John is originally from Ireland but has found home here in Raglan. He’s a goofy footer so is stoked to be surfing in the land of lefts!

John’s calm nature and attention to detail will put you right at ease in the surf.

John previously worked for Mojo Surf in Australia and backs a trailer like a boss!

Nina froths like a grom! You’ll find our French Pocket Rocket down on the beach most of the summer ready with boards and wetsuits for you at our surf trailer!

Be sure to stop ad say “Hi” to her!

Spend a day with Nina and you’ll spend the day laughing.

Heemi was born and raised in Raglan, and he’s pretty proud of his Whenua. He grew up surfing the left hand breaks Raglan is famous for.

He has been teaching surfing for over 10 years and is still stoked to help beginners learn what surfing is all about!

Surf and yoga go hand in hand. And Eva teaches both!

She’s also studying hard to achieve a Bachelor of Sport Science. She’s got the knowledge to get you on your feet and surfing for sure!

Uncle B

Bet you’ve never met anyone like Uncle B before! He’s a story teller, he brings the energy and he’ll teach you all about being kiwi!

Also a born and raised Raglan local. He keeps busy instructing surf lessons and being the Captain on the Wahine Moe!
